I would be careful with this benchmark even thought it shows JIT efficiency. This is a special case which might not really reflect realworld - string was static? What if you use random string?

At this point I don’t see the difference between the U.S. or China what it comes to privacy concerns anymore. US might be even worse. Run locally if you want privacy. At least Chinese make it possible.

I would argue that prose is just a prompt issue. GPT 5.5 outout is easier to control whan Gemini by prompting. Having better defaults does not make it necessarily better.

Many existing challenges are purely based on knowing the existing precise tool. It has been the difference of "very easy" and "insane" challenge, whether you knew the tool or not. So, I would not start banning the tools.
