Americans would have problems with this for 3 reasons: 1. You're cutting in the line. Most people wont say anything if you do it in person, but I can guarantee you they're thinking about saying something, and in their cars somethi

It's like that everywhere in the US. Not always legal, and also incredibly rude (frowned upon).

Your last statement is exactly the kind of reasoning that I'm arguing against. Besides being an absurd generalization, it's also not necessarily true, at least if you're conflating needs and wants, which I suspect is what you

I don't think I ever used the terms fake or meaningless. My point is that the lifestyle being referenced might not be appealing to a majority of people, hence the reason most don't do it.

You're not seeing any complaints from me about traveling. I'm fine where I'm at. I'm just pointing out the flaws in the parent's reasoning, and explaining why it might not be appealing to people that do have a genui

Exactly! It's more condescending and "holier than thou" than anything, with such clear bias that I don't find it fascinating or interesting at all.

I know it's a cynical point of view, but IMO these companies working on Hyperloop is akin to Hooli building inside out compression. I don't think it's going to work.

I came into this thread and expected to read encouraging and/or consoling comments, and instead all I see are people bashing the idea and its execution. Of those bashing this business, how many of you have actually built something of y

If you think that's double dipping, then you have a sad view of the world. Here's some news - when you actually earn a decent income, child tax credits do very little to offset taxable income, especially when you are a business ow

That's not true. Families build wealth together. My children don't do my work, but they work with mom to keep the house in order while I do. It's a family effort. Without the support of my wife and children, I would not be ab

A hop schedule would be very important for getting the flavor right. The way they describe hop additions is not sufficient, and they don't offer IBU estimates, so we're really only guessing how to get there. So as a brewer, my tho

This is where we're at too. We've long been evangelizing Mailchimp and Mandrill in our product, and as a result have sent plenty of customers their way. In fact, our product almost relies on them as a pair. Now, because of the ToS
