Your link is about iOS. macOS is not concerned. Also, that makes sense to have a UNIX certification for macOS, not much for iOS, which is a different kind of platform.

I still remember your paper about BigV! Very interesting solution and architecture. I was very close to becoming a customer essentially because of this. You were ahead of your time :)

I fully agree with you, for what it's worth. I really like what Fly.io is doing here. Most of the advantages of being closer to the metal, combined to most advantages of being in the cloud.

Agreed. But historically, Apple pushed users really hard towards their native apps. I’d be personally happy using a better web version of for example Apple Notes when I’m forced to use Windows.

Agreed. I've been using Pages quite a lot during the past year, growing frustrated with Word, and Pages is surprisingly good. It is much easier to use and to get nice results.

Yes, that's the correct link. Sorry for the broken link. If the approach works for something as heavy duty as Delta Lake, then it is should work for syncing the data of a end-user app across several devices. Even SQLite is separating i

I've been using nginx for years and switched to Caddy just because I was so fed up with configuring nginx to automatically renew TLS certs issued by Let's Encrypt. This is so much easier and reliable with Caddy.
