Many Chinese citizens' digital lives exist solely on Wechat. You can even hail a taxi from Wechat.

You've seen A-Frame? It's an equal set to three.js and embraces the combination of imperative + declarative. Declarative is just a thin abstraction layer on a system that lets you wrap three.js code into composable and reusable mo

Don't mean to hijack, but A-Frame might do you well. Even though it looks declarative, it's just a very thin abstraction (that is actually useful) on top of three.js. Thin enough that it can do anything that three.js can. https:&

I'm natively from Portland and moved to the Bay Area. Portland is comparatively boring, even in terms of nature. I am serious, but my thoughts have the added benefit of deterring people from moving to Portland :)

Yup, we've tried and A-Frame works wonderfully with D3 and React.

A-Frame is based on an entity-component system. It favors composability over hierarchy. Dig deep in the docs and see that's actually quite different than standard wrapping shapes in HTML elements.

Of course, but if you're going to have any sort of savings account, might as well have a higher-yield one.

Why not move your savings account to a different bank? If you are in the US, Discover or Ally banks offer nearly 1% APY. $100K would yield $1K per year.

The rate may be slowing (as expected), but the overall rate has been exponential until now. Like it took us forever to get to 1 billion, but getting to 7 billion took no time at all from that point.

Typical of exponential population growth. The past few years of any resource usage will be more than all of the resource usage of human history combined.

I suggest if showing something off, don't force user registration to be able to see what it is. It's shallow, but I don't want to spend time to register and possibly be subscribed to emails to see what it is.

You can just buy a Pentax DSLR which has a internally-moving sensor, and then buy the Pentax GPS unit that acts as an astro-tracker. Then the sensor moves with the stars according to GPS coordinates. Also, if you're looking just for be

Mozilla is parting ways with Google because it is in line with their values, to promote choice and show that the web is for everyone. Although it may seem so from the outside, the whole Firefox vs. Chrome rivalry is blown out of proportion.

There was a strong option in place from Google, but Mozilla decided not to go with them as a global default in order to promote choice.
