This is fun -- getting very trippy results by changing around some of the constants... vec3 rotate(vec3 r, float v){ return vec3(v*0.1*r.x*cos(v)+r.z*sin(v),r.y,r.z*cos(v)-r.x*sin(v));}

I think it's clear as water those companies you refer to stand to gain from "free and open internet" (for getting ransacked by businesses) because they're incumbents.

You know what I'd like to see a net neutrality exception for? Adverts should be zero-rated. If ISPs are gonna shove bullshit down my throat they sure as hell deserve to accommodate the cost of getting that to me.

Very true! I'm still on FB, but I do like how Instagram doesn't force you to show your current online status, or how it doesn't rat out your likes or comments...

Thanks, this is very well done. I think in a way it's even scarier than Threads, given it doesn't allow you the detachment of seeing other people. You would _be there_ watching this report and losing it.

I recommend having the book Working Effectively with Legacy Software by Michael Feathers in your library, as it is essentially a practical guide to techniques for minimising gumption traps in software engineering.
