nah filesystem snapshots may not lead to consistent DB backups. DB backup software usually use a plugin to tell the DB to coalesce data before taking a snapshot.

Exactly, there is a reason why we don't program in natural languages and use "programming languages" which use a subset of keywords to program. Natural language is too ambiguous and not of use in serious programming.

Cheating is done by ppl who don't put in the effort and take the easy way out. Someone who is depressed wouldn't care enough to cheat. Too much empathy where it is not required has become the bane of society.

Exactly, every company and org has a meta that you need to understand. If you understand the meta and you can/want to play the game, then play else start searching.

Do just enough day to day. Show heroic effort here and there. Don't get too attached to your project, service, code etc. Always understand the undercurrents so that you can keep abreast of things.
