I am not a Musk fanboy either, but you probably haven’t seen the recent 3 part video “Starbase tour with Elon Musk”. He states at least once that he is wrong all the time. At other moments he says other similar things (but sometimes more re

I hope we wouldn't have to go through a bunch of sleepless nights for doing nothing bad. There are semi random checks of "suspicious behaviour" being done in masses. These things can get out of hand sometimes (redefining what

good remark, as a 51% attack does does not let you do many things. An attack does not mean, that you can pull off anything. For example with most cryptocurrencies even with an 51% attack you can't change "from who", "to

If I am not mistaken they compare AWS (cloud services) with the entire IBM company (cloud services, consultancing business, …). Which would make it a strange comparison (but ok, it would just emphasize the size of AWS)

Yes, it is a band aid, or one solution out of many needed ones, and yes, probably not highest priority in terms of needs. But it doesn't have to be a either...or... And I wouldn't derive from your lack of need from a lack of need

I guess it eases the mind when comparing if competitors are below 1000mAh and use that unit prefix. It is easier/faster for the brain to compare 700mAh and 1000mAh than 700mAh and 1Ah

no, the miners are simply said just timestamping machines (once they got lucky to find a fitting nonce). If they don't follow the rules as set by the users of the system, their blocks will be automatically ignored by the users software
