Maybe this will help spurn some necessary and long-overdue problem fixes with LibreOffice, which have gone ignored after being reported seemingly because just not enough people are making a stink about them. I've tried to get Microsoft

Would be nice if fines like that were earmarked as probationary in the sense that if the bad behavior continues, they actually have to pay the fines plus a penalty, otherwise they get a diminished amount.

What you're looking for is 'Basic Premium'. I got that way after burning out on tech enthusiasm. Now I just want the best I can get of the things I need.

Ah, this is true power in allowing companies to keep too much of their high-bracket profits... destroying that which allows competition.

I've heard an amusing conjecture that I'm not sure how much to take seriously unless there's a mind underlying the universe (like in simulation theory). The void in its infinite time and endless space (the same as neither exi

I'm curious how the field that allows vibration exists instead of just pure nothing that isn't a field that doesn't allow vibration or bending or virtual particles etc. Heisenberg's principle seems contingent on the void

How much longer will we keep letting our Congress allow corporations to get away with murder and harm? Laws and enforcement are disincentives. They work. We can make things fair for people if we try.

Having an Unsubscribe All Lists checkbox doesn't minimize that. It just adds form noise and pointless work for a dev. The minimization already happens with the preceding checkboxes to select each list to unsubscribe from, but that'

I've seen both versions, and whether they check or uncheck all of the other options (behaving like a radio button), both versions are overcomplicated nonsense. The unsubcribe-all should just be a link or button with its own submit valu

It makes no sense to have a checkbox for "Unsubscribe All Lists". That should just be a link. There's no point in adding a redundant form element even if it's only conditionally redundant.

Checkboxes looking like radio buttons is a clear sign of things getting stupid. People defending this aesthetic is a sign of stupidity being trivialized. People being ignorant to the problems the stupidity causes is a sign of a subconscious
