Bohemian Rhapsody springs to mind. Most of Pink Floyd's The Wall. Yeah lots of famous rock stuff now I think of it. AC/DC Led Zeppelin. Is it cheating to not use pop in the examples? Takes a lot of effort to break the mold though!

Animation looks like how a skilled fighter might used a double barbed weapon. Maybe there is a connection? Minimise movement (time, energy use) while maximising agility?

The one built into confluence because then someone else can edit it. But I am not an architect. If I was I may get a dedicated tool.

Fuck. Insecure defaults again. I argue that a version specifier should be only a hash. Nothing else is acceptable. Forget semantic versions. (Have some other method for determining upgrade compatibility you do out of band. You need to secur

It is easy to cross wires in a HN thread. I think what makes this discussion hard (hell it would be a hard PhD topic!) is: What do we mean by smart? Intelligent? Etc. What is my agenda and what is yours? What are we really asking? I won

Interesting but a bit non-sequitur. Humans learn and get things wrong. A formative mind is a seperate subject. But a 3 year old is vastly intelligent vs an LLM. Comparing the sounds from a 3 year old and the binary tokens from an LLM is sim

Mice can survive, forage, reproduce. Reproduce a mammal. There is a whole load of capability not available in an LLM. An LLM is essentially a search over a compressed dataset with a tiny bit of reasoning as emergent behaviour. Because it is

It is teams in a functional organisation. Once everyone is performing then how you organise work: how you communicate complex ideas, how you order work, how you set up each other for success matters a whole deal. If you measure something me

For example I reckon in my country say I'm on 150k TC as a senior eng and a senior designer may be on 75k. Using USD conversion. So 2x may be normal. 10x would make me probably in the top 100 highest paid devs in the country except tho

I think to me that would be the appeal of Vim. VSCode implicitly promises this with its plugin approach. Using Ctrl Shift P for years is the sort of thing I like. One less thing in my way.
