Best review I've read so far. Why? Because it was really thorough and fair IMO. The comments were also interesting.

I got one for my wife about a month ago. Paid about $100 dollars for it, she uses it almost every day for email, Facebook, and browsing the internet.

Got this one for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loves it: Asus11634 Laptop Intel Atom 2GB Memory 32GB Flash Paid $148.53 plus tax at BestBuy.com. At first I thought that the 32GB drive would be a problem but with the OneDrive integr

I have a Windows Phone, my brother also owns a MS Band and he has an iPhone (not the latest, but the one before), another family member has an Android phone (Galaxy something). The MS Band app is available on all three stores but only mine

I can tell you why I bought the MS Band: wanted to track my sleep pattern; I wanted to keep a track record of my workouts; I wanted to keep a track record of my running. Why is it awesome: GPS, UV Monitor, optical heart rate sensor; 3-axis

Grandparents are a product of their time? This is deep. I have to admit that I know people that are racist and they are not horrible or evil -- just wrong. And, some are old and some are young.

I use DropBox and so does a lot of other people I know. Their decision to hire Condoleezza Rice does not affect my decision and obviously has no impact on the decision of many others.

I use MS VS 2013 on a daily basis at work and on my own personal projects. This is indeed good news. MS is, without a doubt, moving in the right direction.

Dropbox deciding to employ Condoleezza Rice is not reason enough for me to drop Dropbox; sorry. I will continue to use Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, Box, and whatever else is out there.

Well, I'm ok with having wasted some of my years in technology that has nothing to do with what I want to do today. I read your blog, watched some of your Tekpub productions, downloaded and used some of your code (massive) in a projec

Sorry you feel that you "lost years" doing ASP.NET. I did some COBOL, FORTRAN, Pascal, C, C++, VB, and Delphi during a period of two to four years and don't feel they were "lost years". In fact it was all fun. Wo

I have been working on the MS stack for more than 14 years and still remember the decision I made to invest in learning the .NET platform. I certainly don’t regret my decision and maybe in hindsight I would have made some different choices

Hard to believe this post is not in the front page of HN. As the technical member of my family I'm constantly dealing with these type of issues.

This is great. Thanks for everything you do for the community of developers (.NET and not .NET)

This is very good news. Getting a 3D printer is not in my immediate future but OS support for something like this is always a good thing.

I have to agree with csmuk. I have four browsers installed on my laptop (Opera, Firefox, Chrome, and IE) and IE does not take 10 seconds to open the MSN page and Bing searches return results instantly. Something is wrong with your system.

Thanks for the link. And, I do remember Romney being on the defensive because his plan was being compared with Obama's plan.

Google the following: "was obamacare based on romneycare". Obama says yes, Romney says no. In this case I believe Romney.

Not a good comparison. Romneycare was implemented in one state, Obamacare is nation wide.

Ok I get it: The government and the politicians are not at fault here; it is the private for-profit companies fault. Sorry, but I just don’t agree with your point of view. Like I said: there’s plenty of blame to go around but I don’t see

I agree that all parties deserve some blame, but spreading the blame around does not excuse the amount of money the government spent on this and other projects such as recovery.gov. For profit private companies are in it to make money so I
