I used to be a drug dealer so I know what is going on and they aren’t victims, they are willing recruits. 12 year olds know it’s not right to sell crack. The problem is the gap between lack of legal opportunities for youth and the allure o

I don't think they can or will change something that drastic right away, but I'd wager that there is at least one team, rethinking it. Maybe a year or two of bug fixing updates, while they entirely refresh liquid glass? Seems like

Apples own Apps need serious attention. The iOS Podcast app doesn't allow me to delete certain podcasts from the downloads section. Seems like silly bug for the ecosystem that "just works".

But you create an incentive for organized crime to recruit youth to commit crimes and not have to suffer the consequences. At a certain point, poorly thought out "protections", turn into a system that protects organized crime, bec

If you prohibit the punishment of minors, you create an incentive for criminals to exploit minors. Why are we protecting criminals, just because they are minors? Protect victims, not criminals. Unfortunately reputational damage is part of

Plenty of low education jobs that are hard work and dirty or dangerous, pay really well. Garbage collection, construction and oil rigging pay well, lots of people can’t or won’t do these jobs.

No, the rubber compound in winter tires are vastly superior to all seasons on snow/ice, it helps you actually control the vehicle. I’ve shoveled meters of snowfall this year, our roads are just packed down snow, no pavement.

Is a living wage there bare minimum to live or enough to live a life? I don’t make a living wage for my region and while I can afford food and a room to rent, I can’t really live a decent life, save for the future or invest in myself, I jus

Suburbs (with local amenities) with light rail connectivity into urban centres might actually be awesome. I really wish someone would be a modern city from scratch.
