And what happens when I want to remove one of my 200 friends? Conversely, what happens when I want to add a new friend and give them access to my 200 photos? The only answer I can imagine involves a (#friends X #resources) duplication of st

If they took 3 months to write a tool that would let you suck all your data out of Facebook, that would be useful. But I'm guessing they're not going to start there, because it's not sexy.

This is a major coup for Scribd. I think it's a service that people begrudgingly and painstakingly used. But now it's just joyful, and kind of sexy. But as someone points out - Scribd is a bridge and if the things that they bridge to ever c

I think Facebook is a lot more defensible than Google. I think you seriously underestimate how inertial the relationships it now harbors are. Someone just has to build a better, cheaper, Google, and it will slowly start to leak market share

Assuming you're a normal person and don't want to spend more than $100 on headphones, your best bet is the Grado SR60's.

You sound like you'd better off going on TIGsource and showing a demo of your game and then trying to enlist help from artists.

He had me until #6 ("the most important reason"). Really, he could have just said "battery life" and I would have said "okay, that's a good point." But going on and on about cross-platform? Let the app store sort that out. I can guarantee y

I'd love to know where/how you found suitable quality design freelancers for $10/hr in the Philippines?

One point of feedback, first glance at your page does not give my brain an initial impression that you're selling anything. I think at least a shopping cart icon on the checkout "tab" would be a normal indicator of "ecommerce". In fact the

And where do you suppose the salt is stored? (EDIT: Not to suggest Google would be so naive as to use a single static salt value with N hashing iterations. I really hope there's something smarter at play than that. The question is, does the

Interesting to discussion to kick off. 1) Do you think that having a sell angle on your site can be a traction killer? Will you be stickier if things are free and happy for a longer period of time? 2) Isn't integrating with billing solution

Neat, easy to understand instantly, and I like that you've already added social/viral features (stamps). My question is, how do you plan on gaining traction for the site? Are you going to pay for content/routes, or... ?

There are so many flaws in this reasoning, I don't know where to start. #1 - Two of the worst carts preceding the '83 crash were E.T. and Pacman, both developed and produced by Atari itself, not these mysteriously inferior 3rd parties you'r

My $0.02 - the mock up on the front page looks like someone trying to design a clunky looking desktop app from the 90's (what's more, designing something that looks like it is at least partially subverting the standard OS File Save dialog)
