I wonder if people are overvaluing these gtlds. Of the general public, how many people are going to see "great.books" and think "Oh that's a URL I should type."

I remember laughing at them when they launched at and won TC50. "Twitter for the enterprise! What a dumb idea." I'm laughing all the way to their bank now.

The use of RJD2 in the soundtrack seems to go a bit above and beyond fair use.

Related, can someone recommend a "it just works" gamepad (wired better than wireless) for use with OSX? Preferably attainable via Amazon?

As a kid who began writing code on an Apple II I cant believe you feel that today's situation is inferior to our own. I didn't know anyone who HAD a computer let alone could program it and I sure as hell never imagined that I could actually

I'm not arguing the existence of Watcom C++ 9.5/386 :) But let's be clear the first version of Watcom C++ was released in 1993. To suggest the demoscene started there is ludicrous.

Really, the demo scene, which started out in the 80's, was using Watcom C++? Watch the behind scenes video of Second Reality (1993). They're coding Pascal and (duh) assembly. The demoscene was really born out of cracks/intros/loaders which
