Thank you! The gif/screenshot appears to be dead, so I can't see how it behaves exactly, but I'll investigate further.

Is there any plugin similar to this for Sublime? EDIT: Not sure why I'm being downvoted, but I'm genuinely curious. I searched the package manager and google, but couldn't find anything that offered this functionality.

I just installed it... it works beautifully. Thanks for the heads up!

That site needs some updating. The 'features' and 'images' sections both lack content (merely a message stating "under construction"). Although content > style, I can't help but mention how dated the

I've been using Gimp for many years now, and it serves me well. I learnt Photoshop at university, on a Multimedia Tech course. Whilst Photoshop is a fine piece of software, it is overkill for most users. Gimp might be hard to get to

Took me a second to realise that first link is satire!

It's a shame that Opera didn't choose to open source their code long ago. I can't help but think that would've changed their course drastically, and for the better. Having another Chrome clone seems like a sad way to go.

Not an April Fools' joke. Colour me surprised, as some of the quoted previous AP changes are hilarious: 'more than' can replace 'over'... "More than my dead body!"

I'd quite like to run this on a Raspberry Pi (3), but from what I gather, there is no support at present.

I'd say this is highly likely. I saw it posted earlier on hn and Reddit. If it's doing the rounds, it seems plausible that 25k people just gave it a whirl. The article even states that the spike could be a due to Ricochet, but &q

I've got a 980 GTX running on Ubuntu 14.04.3 and it's pretty good overall. I can play most games at a decent framerate in very high quality @ 2560x1440. It can run Portal at 4K, no problem. The rig I have is pretty new and cost

I was surprised to discover that Oculus have dropped support for Linux and OSX, at least for the time being. I'm sure you can still run the headsets, but it seems like a somewhat risky purchase as long as there is no official support.

Credit where credit is due. This is exactly the right approach. If only other governments would follow suit.

Yeah, I just wondered if any of these ad networks would be serving through any of the large-scale adult sites like pornhub, tube8, etc.

by neuromute 11y ago
So, is there a comprehensive list of affected sites anywhere? I've seen a short list of sites serving the malware, but I see no mention of whether this was distributed via any large-scale tube sites.

If you were hit with this attack, would you see a pdf attempt to load in the browser? Was it a hidden iframe? Were any popular tube sites affected (PH-network, etc)?

Indeed, an open source license does not ensure a better quality of product, and nor does a proprietary one. Free/Libre Open source software gives users various freedoms, which many people like (myself included). It also opens the doo

Literally, the difference between open source and proprietary is the license... nothing more. There are plenty examples of excellent open source software, so I fail to see your argument on this. Proprietary ≠ better that open source. There

I emailed SublimeText offices a long time ago to push the concept of crowdsourcing the open sourcing of the project. It was blown out of the water. I should imagine that even if they set a high goal, they'd do pretty well out of it.

Oh, how I would love this device to be a class leading spec. It's nearly time for a new phone, and I'd love an Ubuntu handset, but don't think I'd be up for the technical downgrade by purchasing this mid-(to-low-)range

What distro/OS are you using now, might I ask?

by neuromute 13y ago
Have you tried it recently? I tried an early beta and it was really rough around the edges. I've been using it in production since beta 2 and it is very very polished.

I like this. Similar controls to spin.js in getting a certain look and feel, but for gif.
