I currently work in central Virginia a bit more rural. Good pay and great cost and quality of living. 3 of the more senior engineers work 60% and 80%. But HR has told me that no one wants to come here. It has been a great place for start

To me this is just ridiculous. ULA is so far behind SpaceX. The whole Vulcan engine recovery thing just seems so likely to fail and they have to wait for the BE-3 and who knows how far out that will be.

Additionally, the Heavy could drop it to $1,600/kg. This does not take into consideration any of the reusability so SpaceX has lowered the cost an order of magnitude already.

Compressed earth brick is pretty amazing. The whole house become a water vapor trap and the house cools itself as the heat of the day increases. Granted then you need to cool the house at night to refresh the thermal mass. https:/&#

I think the better question is why don't/haven't Millennials taken those jobs as previous generations did. This is a problem that has occurred outside of the technology debate.

My current theory is that this “automation bomb” won't really happen in the sense that 5 million Truckers are going to get laid off all of a sudden. Especially in the case of Truckers the average age is getting higher and higher every

Yeah, I like the illustration that Brexit is Bear Stearns especially because the market has recovered in the last two weeks(as it did with BS in 2007) and a DB implosion would be the Lehman Brother for the next collapse.
