I kind of think that Gitter is a joke and I'm not convinced they can do better than Slack. I mean their Android app has the balls to ask you to write your GitHub credentials. Maybe Asana/plain IRC is a better solution.

I open one window per project, and use a good windows manager (awesome wm ^_^) and it works like a charm. But then people don't want to use a tiling windows management because it's too hard to learn...

Author here, these TODOs are just to make my life easier. r.range has some limitations now though. It should be pretty hard to make a query fail beside the issues currently opened.

You can just crash (and still see the stacktrace) and automatically restart. You shouldn't leave these `catch/ignore` in your code in prod, this is a pretty good way to get undefined behaviors and maybe corrupted data.

Gosh, adding a `.catch(console.log.bind(console))` is just insane. If you have a library that will return non operational error, just remove it from your project. If your code throws when it is not expected to, fix it. This is like saying p

The best stuff I've seen is ChromeOS talk back -- it's actually the only one I could roughly use with my eyes closed. That being said, some websites don't play well...

I can think of these three right now: - changefeeds if you want to push data to your clients - joins (if you are on a system without them - like Mongo) - human-readable query language (if you are using SQL)

You should check out thinky. Because of the chainable query language you don't have to build a new abstractions. You can just use the same. Meaning that there is nothing (or very little) to learn yp switch from the driver to thinky.

The problem of schemaless database mentioned in the article is then replaced with painful migrations. The trend to go back to SQL databases now is fueled by the "same" poor reasons why people were going for NoSQL databases. You ca
