Why not just say "because I don't want to change it"? rustaceans will always say your argument isn't valid for some reason or another. IDGAF, it's written in C because it is -- that's it!

I thought Consider Phlebas was very good but a depressing book. I keep hearing Player of Games is awesome, so maybe that?

Interesting. I looked up top 10 domains. I wonder if you could have it occur on wikipedia.org? Other random thoughts after looking at https://radar.cloudflare.com/domains ... Maybe tiktok somehow? Or a bug in NTP? :D

I think this is more readable than with macros, but it might be a preference.

>> Risks to jobs rarely feature among reported risks, despite being a prominent public concern. If there is a risk to jobs, it wouldn't show up here since actually less jobs is "good" for business...

https://brian.carnell.com/wiki/texas_slavery_narratives_part... Fascinating story.. you know it happened but it's weird to read it and imagine it was absolutely real.

Electronics. Especially the concept of ADC/DACs. Connecting Analog to Digital in to an FPGA, etc. I read a document about PLLs and I barely understand the block diagrams, the math I can't even begin to understand the symbols. I&#x

I've seen this book talked about a lot. However, I also have heard that there is some big holes in the research. Take a look online.

Out of business for awhile now.. I'd guess 90% or more CD-Rs made now are CMC. Ritek might still make some. There is also falconrak in UAE making them. At this point I am curious if anyone in Japan is still doing it... Does Memory-Tech

I'm trying to make an edison battery (Nickel Iron). My first attempt failed due to expired silver epoxy... I'm now planning to try a nickel paint (meant for electron microscopy). https://www.nutsvolts.com/magazine&

You should upload it to macintoshrepository.org. It seems like it is not available anywhere else.

Perhaps there is just something small you can do that is passed down or acknowledged by others who will pass it on. A behavior, an action, or some other change.

Just crazy. Bank heists fully online...

Kind of sad.. not unexpected considering their previous announcement. Ritek and CMC still make BD-R and there are others making pressed BD’s. This is definitely the end for MiniDisc production though!

My guess is that start up culture requires some level of sacrifice to make it, right? I think 24/7/365 is a bit much of course, but I would expect a level of extra work compared to some 9-5's...

Unfortunately recordable optical is on it's way out. Sony recently slashed the staff at the Japan plant that makes BD-R's (BD-R XL's). Still CMC makes CDR, DVDR, BDR though.

Possibly in DVDR.

Many pictures missing. Search is not great, especially for non scientific names of plants. Like "frogfruit" doesn't find anything. Other than that it's great!!
