Your logic can rationalize any kind of unfair treatment in the world and therefore an invalid argument. After all, there alway are some people who are just so good that an unfair system cannot deny them.

I don’t understand your case about Vietnamese being admitted to Harvard at all, or how I would have tears let alone crocodile tears. Your words make no sense.

Tell me more about how Asian Americans have to have better grades than Whites, Blacks and Latinos to get into the same school because they are somehow worse.

So the article is outdated I guess. The length of the chain is the same now. I'll consider switching back to Let's Encrypt once this setup doesn't require a whitelist.

The alternative you suggest has a longer chain of certificates, and more difficult setup. Using ZeroSSL is way easier with less bytes on the TLS handshake.

> A company of 50,000 operating at a loss will eventually fire 50,000 people. If it can turn things around by firing 10,000 - why not? This argument, true or false, is not applicable in this situation, as Google is still enjoying high pr

I don't think that the US has the culture that employees should be grateful to their employer for providing them with a job and a paycheck. The idea of at will employment comes from the ideology of freedom rather than who owes who.

I prefer ZeroSSL to Let's Encrypt. ZeroSSL has no rate limit, and most importantly they have full ECC support. With Let's Encrypt, even if I request for an ECC cert, the intermediate CA is still RSA, drastically increasing the cer

That’s actually a bad analogy in my opinion. People who don’t learn cryptography make many mistakes calling cryptography libraries and those mistakes can’t be uncovered by testing.

For curiosity I upgraded the kernel of my VPS running Debian 11 from 5.10 to 6.1. The networking became visibly slower. All TCP receive and send rate droped to at least 1/4 of the original. I had to restore the original kernel and the

Actually, since any device can and does have multiple IPv6 addresses and can easily get more, blocking individual IPv6 address is ineffective. Some services choose to block /64 so the collateral damage is not reduced in any way.
