Saudi Aramco's IPO would never have happened without Prince Mohammad bin Salman (Salman might be the king, and Mohammad bin Nayef might be the crown prince, but MbS is "Mr. Everything") consolidating power and courtiers. Okay

The title of "computer engineer" is already regulated in Canada. You're not allowed to call yourself a computer engineer unless you get an accredited BASc/BEng/whatever degree and get your Iron Ring. That only makes

Isn't econ one of the most mathematical of the social sciences? Apparently there's a lot of mathematical overlap between grad school econ and fields in Big Data: computer vision, machine learning, etc.

I've heard that APEGBC is now regulating the term "Software Engineer", when it didn't before. Hootsuite had to change its job titles to "Software Developer".

I want to ask you, do you think that there are wider class divides in Seattle than in Vancouver? I hear all the time about BLM marches, May Day riots, anti-gentrification/anti-Amazon vandalism, no-whites-allowed yoga, SPD brutality, et

Despite your persuasive argument, I like it here. The US is broken, politically and socioeconomically. The Senate will block any bills for a constitutional amendment to get money out of politics, and a Constitutional Convention will mean al

If you extend your search to Burnaby/New West, you can easily find 1 bedrooms for $700-1000 that are close to a frequent bus route (e.g. 106, 123). You're not paying a premium to live close to Skytrain, but commuting to downtown d

You can live downtown or close to it without spending half your (dev) salary on rent. And you don't have to worry about gas, being stuck in traffic, etc.
