I didn't find the description very helpful in that regard. I wasn't sure if it was papier maché.

One of the definitions of civilisation is the building of substantial permanent settlements. Gobekli Tepe does qualify in that sense, as does Chatal Hoyuk. Gobekli Tepe features notable sculptures too.

It's called Facebook, because it collected photographs to be used for facial recognition data, much like personal information was collected for sale to commercial interests. In fact, Facebook often used to ask you to identify people in

They may not need to be, as some are discrete. I am concerned because I wear tinted glasses a lot for completely different reasons.

I can understand Thetford. There are masses of those small Chinese water deer in East Anglia. I saw quite a few about and as roadkill. No one really seems to hunt them so they would be an ideal vector.

1986 is forty years ago. We have Lymes disease in Scotland (I know someone who has it), and a large deer population which has not been properly controlled with substantial remote areas. (Much smaller than the USA but big enough to be reserv

Ticks are much more common in Scotland thanks to deer population and high rainfall. Ticks prefer damp conditions to drought conditions, so this last summer wouldn't have been good for them. The damp makes it easier to survive while the

Farage's game was to resign and get re-elected with a large majority, which succeeded. Only Count Binface came anywhere near stopping him doing that and offered a viable alternative. The parties who refused to stand allowed Farage to d

They have more than enough time, labour and money to contest that seat. It smells like a cop out to me. If it was in Scotland, this situation would never have happened since the SNP is supposed to contest every seat.

There are tonnes of them. Especially Eastern Europeans and Jews. Italians sometimes too. Still happens in entertainment, since Steve Carell and Nicholas Cage's real names are more Italian sounding.

It used to be very common for migrants to change their surnames, although less so now. There used to be a person who wrote about Scottish Lithuanians called John Millar, who was born as Jonas Stepšys. Noam Chomsky had said that his family&#

I voted Remain, and hoped the EU would get its house in order if the UK stayed in it. Unfortunately neither of these things happened. Both the EU and the UK have become increasingly authoritarian, including on internet matters.
