I think it woudn't hurt if Handbrake had a simple UI like this by default with an Expert button to get into the full UI. I like how VLC also have basic and expert modes. It's a nice idea IMO.

iTerm2 is a must. This is probably the only Mac app I miss on Linux. Kitty and Ghostty are missing so many important features, they fill like hobby proof of concept terminals to me. The closest alternative for Linux IMO is Wezterm.

It is a really bad bill idea. It’s ironic that the proponents want to exempt thrmselves from the very mass surveillance they're proposing! It definitely isn't about protecting children and it can't work this way. What a propa

The right to privacy is one of the basic human rights. How can they even think about restricting it? Why aren't there more protests already? Once it is fully implemented, there will be no way back and no more protests will be possible.

Exactly. I would just rename it to something nicer and forget about Java - it has very little to do with it nowadays anyway. A new name can even retain .js extensions like: JetScript, JoyScript, JuiceScript, JadeScript, JunoScript, whatever

This is OP's second article of hating Go. In the meantime he also wrote about Rust: "I’ve not found anything frustrating or stupid in Rust yet." So he can just use Rust and stop using Go completely. Problem solved. No need to
