A bored kid would be bad from the potential for this type of threat to be more prolific. A nation state would utilize this attack chain to steal copious mounts of sensitive data and prepare infrastructure for coordinated attacks on critical

True, and all of their MSRPs are easily comparable to Apple’s similarly-specked hardware.

Well you said “from MS,” so I took that as one would. Comparing some third party provider against Apple isn’t entirely reasonable, unless they’re marketing a very similarly premium brand.

Users "throw away [their phone] and buy a different device" basically every 2 years, anyway. Apple's policies haven't changed significantly, and their market share among mobile devices has stayed between 11 and 25% for 1

Dell and Lenovo both sell laptops with Ubuntu pre-installed. The fact that they aren't making those SKUs available at Best Buy says more about the lack of interest among regular consumers in anything besides Windows, MacOS, and (I gues

Except that Apple monopolistic behavior would have stayed limited to iOS devices, which they make and maintain. If users were staunchly opposed to this “monopoly,” they had the option to switch to any of a huge selection of highly comparabl

MSRP is the best way to compare. In the US, there are significant deals for Apple devices all the time.

I’m not doing anything super technical on my phone, so I can’t provide any opinion about things like code writing or testing from it. I’ve found iOS 17 to be amazing so far on my 15 pro max. My only persistent irk is with the notification m

I had the exact same experience switching to the 15 Pro Max last month. I was adamantly anti-iOS and pro-Android, using Samsung’s latest flagships (S10 Ultra, S21 Ultra, Fold4), until our carrier had a pretty amazing trade-in deal and I sai

Completely agree that Apple does the exact same stuff with account management and iCloud notifications, but I don’t understand where these arguments keep coming from that Apple is more costly. The 13.5 sLaptop 6 for Business is, i5/8gb

That’s because the article is wrong. Scheduling is not based on the dangerousness of the drug. It’s based on the potential for abuse and the medicinal value.

I switched from Android to iOS for the first time ever last month (was on Android since the very early 2010s), and I still use Beeper for everything but iMessages.

Yeah I bought a Robo & Kala 2-in-1 because the Arm processor would play great with WSA apps… If this disappears on my system, that’s a lot of functionality gone. Maybe I should have just held out for a MacBook Air… Lesson learned

I have to agree. If I buy into Apple’s system, I have no right to use the force of government to impose changes. I agreed to Apple’s terms at the onset. All of these impositions against Apple are unjustifiable; they’ve been known entities s
