Isn't the burden being that high the point? It keeps a small team who all know each other working on it, and everyone who does get on the team has some high investment in the project.

We've been keeping pets as a species for considerably longer than we've had cities. It's basically an ingrained part of how we react to animals now.

Lots of stuff in the zirp era was cheap when it was new and increased in price over time though. Look at grubhub fees or etc.

What does your visa card do to force them to not charge fees? I still see atm fees over here in the us, so it can't just be being visa. I would guess some regulation but you could get that applied to the digital euro too probably?

If you had a choice of maybe 3-4 contracting firms to hire workers from and you weren't large enough to negotiate on price I think you'd be in a pet bad spot as a business?

My most charitable interpretation that there's some honeymoon effect for each release, and people genuinely feel very productive and useful for 2-3 months. By the time the next big model release happens they've seen some issues or

You shouldn't be remotely disabling hardware features in my opinion at all. It's not really like changing an API or something, this is like an update removing something from your car or another appliance years after you bought it.

CVS also accepts alipay as a payment method, so they must have some kind of direct partnership. I don't see why they'd need an intermediary, although maybe they take the cash and just credit alipay some balance etc.
