Just for answers? Lame. It would be noteworthy if they had an option to replace instances of pi with tau in all the practice problems.

Really excited to see what fan-made stuff comes out of this. The replay editor is a child's toy in comparison.

It seems like turbulence is an issue when the beam is sent through the air, but could it be transmitted through a cable over longer distances? I certainly wouldn't mind upgrading my internet speed from 25 Mb/s to 2500000 Mb/s.

For some reason I get really upset when people try to analyze internet culture. Especially if it earns them a Master's degree. Is this normal?

Okay, this whole Trans thing has gotten a little out of hand. Nobody is being oppressed because someone used the word "gender" instead of "sex." If you feel offended by that word choice, you're probably a little over-sensitive.

Sadly, if there was a show called "Kiddies and Command Lines," sites like reddit would probably eat it up. Parents should let their kids discover what they like, not force their own preferences on them.

Wow, how have I not heard of WeMo before? Though Belkin is typically a little overpriced, I think they've opened the door for other companies (Phillips, maybe?) to offer their own version. I'm definitely looking forward to automating my dor

That's a good point. You have to wonder if they considered innovating in that area as well. Perhaps a system that diffuses light through the ceiling of each floor? That would be quite impressive.

I hope all this recent talk of language and the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis spurs interest in lojban. Perhaps it can be further tuned to reduce color/gender bias. http://lojban.org/publications/level0/lojbanLevel0.pdf

Anyone happen to know if it uses their new ultra-responsive (1ms) touchscreen technology? I remember being pretty excited about that when they demoed it, but it seemed like it wouldn't be rolled out for a while. http://www.youtube.com/watc

Okay, I'm a little confused. What exactly is a Co-Prossessor? It looks like a graphics card. Will it replace the graphics cards or work alongside it? Does it only handle highly parallel tasks, with the processor handling serials tasks?

I think more people would be fine with Windows 8 if people stopped telling them that they should hate it. Same for Vista; personally, I never encountered problems with drivers/sluggishness that people told me were bound to happen. It wasn't

I personally prefer WinDirStat: http://windirstat.info/ is there a definitive "best" treeviewer? In terms of how fast it's able to scan your drive contents?

Interesting. I wonder if moot will adopt this for 4chan. Recently he's seemed interested in optimizing the site (most notably by cleaning up the HTML/CSS and adding mobile support).

That's a good point. I hadn't really thought about virtual economies like WoW or Eve as similar to the Fed in that they can essentially print money.

Where exactly is Eve? All I can find is this poetry database.

I certainly agree with this outlook. I've been wearing nothing but blue jeans and plain white t-shirts lately, and it definitely has taken a lot off my mind.

I think you'll find that, due to the highly polarizing nature of Objectivist-C, the truth value of rand() depends on what machine you run it on.
