Apple/Google have enabled mobile internet usage which has fundamentally enabled both legal and illegal activities. Safari is the way they do it. Still, in the absence of mobile phones, a lot of these illegal activities would slow down.

Internal is best. Show leadership within your team. Take things off your managers plate and do it for him/her. Don’t go around your manager. Given there is a lot of fluidity in the market now, some team will lose their EM. Ask for the

What if we invert this. Assume the company pays the same irrespective of location. Should an employee in SF or NY have a lower standard of living compared to an engineer who lives in a low COL area?

Misleading title. It’s not an unrecoverable delete. It’s moved into iCloud as you had specified. You can even turn off iBooks from using iCloud in Settings.
