I have come across several but used none (not really a Node developer so no reason to try any). Are they all just not up to snuff or something?

Same. Wondering if it is a regional thing? Never in my life have I heard of or seen a Microsoft store.

Off topic, but I used to run a website that had Google Analytics. This site and domain are now 100% down and have been for over a year. I still get monthly emails from Google about the analytics for this website. Apparently it's gett

This is so pointless and I love every bit of it. Perfect Easter egg for the Chrome dinosaur game or something similar.

I have been happy with Gandi for a number of years. Namecheap is also good from what I hear. GoDaddy has done a number of lousy business practices in the past so while they do work well and do offer a lot, I cannot recommend them.

> WSL hooks coming in 9..8..7.. Sure. > Developers flocking to WSL in 6..5..4.. Maybe some, sure. > Linux dead in 3..2..1.. What? Linux on the server won't see any change. Linux on the desktop, maybe, but I doubt most people

In a perfect world, it would be more hybrid (probably either 3 or 4 days at the office, the rest at home). But, given the choice to stay at home or go back? I am having trouble saying that I miss the office. I never worked remote before thi

I too would love statics for this. However, I use Linux at home and Windows at work, and I generally read HN from my work PC in the mornings. If others are like me then this data wouldn't really be accurate.

I am a huge fan of "Learn X in Y Minutes". If you already have a good technical background, these articles are a great intro to a lot of technologies. https://learnxinyminutes.com/docs/make/ I only see m

My desktop PC, same that I spend the rest of my day in front of. I connect to my works network through VMWare horizon View Client, and from a virtual desktop, I RDP into my work machine.

Look at the address bar. now click inside of it and notice how it gets bigger. I kinda hate it, but at the same time I barely notice it so whatever.

This comment might come of as apathetic or dismissive or something, but I actually think there's a beautiful golden nugget of truth in what you just said.

Same. I used to like it when their site header had a line about "No bullshit web hosting" but they removed that sometime in the last year or two.

I'm definitely not saying that guy is wrong about anything he is saying, but take it with a grain of salt. A lot of what he says in his interviews are based on 1+ year old info since he no longer works there and a lot of it sounds like
