I'm not aware of such website. The visa situation is not easy. For a previous job in the US I had to explain why sponsoring for a visa was not complicated and not time consuming.

The companies posting the offers are willing to sponsor a work visa for the person(s) applying to the job ads if it's a good fit.

Correct sir. I'm French :) However I chose Algolia because the service is spot on and I'm a long time fan of OVH. They're have a really good service and they are cheap!

For those interested by the stack: - RoR, twitter bootstrap and some jquery. - The search is powered by Algolia. - The server is on a OVH dedicated server. - Deployment with Capistrano and Active Job is paired with sidekiq :) Also something

Yes, definitively coming in the next release! For the time being I tweaked the search to only return jobs that sponsors for visas. Thanks for the feedback!

How accurate it is with foreigners? The way to communicate from a country to another is really different, same for the culture, ... How do you integrate the 'foreigner' factor in the evaluation?

Not sure why you're getting down voted like this... EDIT: It doesn't appear that bad anymore, but as soon as this comment was posted it got down voted pretty bad. Something fishy going on...

This sounds over complicated and the CTO sounds horrible. The dev team hiring the engineers should gather together and write some specs. The leader should post the job online and then the team should deliberate on each candidate. Everything

Yes, my wording was bad. It's more like not startup friendly.

Then Facebook, Google, Apple & co could be the only one winning the hiring war. Sponsoring someone would be too damn dangerous and expensive for smaller companies and startups.

The wage is already part of the criteria for application. USCIS only accept application if the salary of the visa beneficiary is comparable to a US citizen salary doing the same job.

It is actually alarming how 'anti startup' USCIS can be. Here are list of fraud indicators they released: http://www.happyschools.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/h1b-v...

You're less likely to get a H1B at a startup yes but it's not for the reasons you think. For a company to apply to a H1B visa they have to prove they have enough financial assets to not get bust. There are however several reasons

There is. Lately, a lot of the top companies sponsoring for visa are getting in trouble because of fraud[1]. http://www.wsj.com/articles/SB100014240527023045275045791674...

By law, foreigners should not have a lower salary. When a company sponsor an employee for a visa, the salary is one of the criteria to check for the immigration. They should/have to make sure it match the average salary in the office
