I read a bit of subtext into this. If you've got 2.5 weeks to turn a hackathon project into a "company" to pitch to investors, it could be that the underlying issue your cofounder has isn't related to the copy. It could be related to the fa

We've used a whole heap of tools to try to track brand pages and it's always a pain the arse. No one has a clean interface like this and guys like SocialBakers charge like a wounded bull.

This assumes that you're only ever going to build one app and that you learnt nothing from the process. It also assumes that you want to consult for other people rather than building your own projects. Feels like they learnt a lot from the

I actually thought the blog post was the opposite of how you read it. They're basically saying "it doesn't matter that we got funding - our users don't care" (which they don't) but they also know this will raise their profile in terms of fi

Nice work, it's an interesting mechanic. You might want to look at some kind of scoring system + sharing of that score to increase sharing of the application. ie "I guessed 10/20 of my friends profile pictures". This would allow you to use

Looking great and positioning is really nice (just photos). We used Zencoder for a similar purpose last year and it helped to encode video files as well. The pricing on these services to make your image-related pain go away is totally worth
