Left-handed scissors are a thing. I own a couple of pairs but they feel funny because I've simply used right-handed scissors backwards most of my life. One big difference is visibility. On right-handed scissors you can see the cut from

Those are remakes and not remasters. Different beast. The trouble with remasters is they're usually farmed out to third-party devs who don't always give it the same attention to detail as the original developers. A prime example

Lance McDonald (@manfightdragon) is the someone, I don't think the patch is shared publicly though. He plays it sometimes on his Twitch channel. I've seen LobosJr play the 60 fps version too.

It's a short story, a brief one (~32 kB): https://gist.github.com/neckro/0f3a9ec60be34e3164c6677d4ecc1... CW though, it is pretty grim. Very early example of the "AI takes over the world, decides humans are

GP is not quite correct. It wasn't completely re-recorded, but Dave Mustaine re-recorded many of the guitar solos on the album, and the whole album was remixed. At any rate, it's not the same (classic, imo) album that was released

There's a dead pixel on my 4k monitor. It's so small that I think it's just a speck of dust, if I notice it at all.

This is actually an old idea, minus the AI angle (1930s). It’s what voders and vocoders were originally designed for, before Kraftwerk et al. found out you can use them to make cool robot voices.

This is very similar to how noise cancellation works on cell phones. The secondary mic is typically on the back of the phone and picks up the ambient noise to be subtracted from the primary mic’s signal.

It wasn't quite a TSR, it was more like a subshell. I remember using a similar feature in Telix in the early 90s. It was a bit limited because you were still restricted to the usual 640kB memory space, and the original program remained

I imagine in modern devices adding a "fully fledged video camera" is a lot simpler than adding a laser that has moving parts and regulatory baggage.

What codec? It's PCM. You could also use that PCM stream to transmit Dolby Digital or DTS, but that's up to the device, not TOSLINK.
