Fun fact: I live in a car-free "downtown" area in Europe. I have to walk 15 minutes to reach my car... but just 5 minutes to the train station. Not complaining though; it's a beautiful walk.

That's some interesting statistics you claim, would love to see the source on that.

Yes, I agree that you describe a use case that works and is solved for you and many other early adopters. Which is great for the overall acceptance of BEV driving. Also great to hear you live in a home where you can actually park your car c

Because the power grid and city infrastructure do not allow for enough (fast) charging-points. In some European cities, for government BEV goals to be achieved, over 700 charging points have to be placed, every single day, for 5 years. Now

Any suggestions or experiences with write-intensive applications? My SD-card fails every few months. Is there a more reliable storage option that's easy to implement?

I always used Neko as the default VM to run Haxe code. I used it the same way most people now use NodeJS: tooling, simple webserver, quick prototype. These days, I start new projects in NodeJS because teams don't know about Neko. Which

Just wondering about the actual statistics here... Is this a higher failure rate than average phones? Or is there a extremely large focus on all of these devices because of what they are, and therefor problems are more "visible" (

I'm having a hard time moving to GIMP. But I really want to love it. I've used Photoshop for almost 2 decades and recently moved over to Ubuntu. I always struggle with shortcuts and generally 'how it works'. Simply openi

That pop-up when I click the 3 dots is way too slow, it's really annoying. Those buttons should probably be visible on hover. Or better still, just show them on the side maybe. It takes too many clicks to get work done. (IMHO)

No I totally agree, looking back on my actions, rm -rf'ing the production database was not a productive use of my time.

Makes me feel less bad about rm -rf 'ing a product database and losing 1 hour of client data, the other week. Maybe I should show them this...

I get that I don't need Jquery and that I can do DOM stuff myself. However. JQuery makes DOM stuff a lot easier to remember and perform. I think I'll always be prototyping in Jquery. Large stuff we built in React, Redux etc... But

I think for creating a messy Proof of concept, or creating a simple tool with minimum UI and complexity, I will always be grabbing JQuery. It's just so simple and I've got all of it memorized for so long... Which makes me curious,

I think this is a large majority of Git users. The last company I worked at had 30 good developers, 1 of which I think really deeply understood git. So I guess 97% of users don't really get git.

I love Termux, it has gotten me out of a tight situation more than once. I lets me ssh into my machines while in the pub or someplace where I'm not bringing my laptop.
