Quality can drop drastically even moving from Model N to N+1 from the same provider, let alone a different one. You'll have to adjust a bunch of prompts and measure. And if you didn't have a baseline to begin with good luck YOLOin

Why bother writing new shell scripts? If you're allowed to install any deps go with uv, it'll do the rest. I'm also kinda in love with https://babashka.org/ check it out if you like Clojure.

Agreed if you're going there from the start. I stumbled on this by porting something using that was previously pip, and that surprisingly different default has been a foot gun.

It was magical at the time. But the collaborative everywhere and multimedia was particularly nice. Now you get that in Figma, Linear, and others but it's still a feat. Looking forward for Patchwork to come out and see if it can generat

I see the sarcasm but you're likely not simulating this hard enough. This is what happened in most of Spain and Portugal during the recent power outage and it wasn't pretty.

I think the focus on Cursor Agent is misplaced. I always turn to Ask and find it annoying they keep reverting it to Agent any time I'm not looking.

It's slow as hell. And every version bump comes with a bunch of new warnings/errors by default that is quite disruptive if you want to keep it quiet. But mostly that it is annoyingly slow.
