I agree with your sentiment that you should consider the motivations of the author (in any writing really), but it seems like they've done a pretty fair job of analyzing the data. I think the 12.4x marriage rate is slightly misleading, beca

How about turning it in to a startup community gathering place? YC benefits: Instead of just receiving a lot of apps from the area from people you never heard of, you'd be able to get to know them for months before they apply; It'd help yo

I agree, but if you're trying to get someone to buy something from you, you don't tell them to take a look at some clutter. freecycle sounds happy, the products are free, you're doing good by recycling. clutterbin sounds like a bunch of cl

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it's good for people looking to get rid of clutter, but what person is going to want to go and buy some clutter?

Very very cool. A couple problems though. For terms with spaces in them it creates a tag for each word. For example "stack overflow" has tags for "stack" and "overflow", which aren't all that useful (although yes the tag stackoverflow is

I've read some anecdotal evidence supporting this as well (atleast for goods). A store owner can't sell a line of jewelery, so they write a note to an employee to cut the price in half. The employee misreads the note and doubles the price
