Fair enough! Theres a very generous free tier (both small and base models enabled) that should cover a basic use case. Justification for charging a subscription is value based: 65 bucks a year is not a lot to spend if it saves you 10+ hours

Great question, in the case of superwhisper, the app itself doesnt really have an interface- it just plops the result text into whatever text field you have focused. So the menu bar icon indicates the recording processing and complete state

I think this is why I love incident response. "In an emergency, that whole tangle of self-absorption lifts, because "what needs to be done" is usually so obvious that nobody, not even my inner critic, could reasonably disagre

Drones as first responders seems like a great idea, get info, keep officers safe, even suspects/victims are safer as a result. They are already being used in the field today. But I can also quickly see this slipping into a surveillance

The bug was the app kept downloading after the user agreed to download the new version.

Lovely idea & execution. I really like the landing page for this. Not sure if it does already, but showing the user the equivalent git command would be a great way for them to learn git itself.

Awesome, I gotta check out Swift Playgrounds and Lego Boost. My oldest is still 5, think those are out of reach?

Yeah looking for any games (not digital necessarily). The question formed from me playing simplified blackjack with my son (5) and getting him excited about quick mental addition for the first time.

https://superstrong.app Heavily inspired by other weightlifting trackers such as Strong and Hevy and can import your history from those apps. Includes a heatmap (similar to the github commit one) that shows your weekly history.

Would be dope to monetize the traffic and donate it or support indie game projects.

Brutal article, really poorly written. Product is cool, but for 50 bucks is too steep

Wouldn't be the first time they implemented direct anti Facebook features.

+1 this is likely the situation. I would bet that the rest of the url resolves to the old format with the search param after some decoding.

Vite is one of the best tools I have started using in the last year. Nearly zero configuration and incredible performance. Definitely the build tool I reach for by default now
