There's usually a few hours delay before new apps show up in the search index.

Sounds like you are mobile first (because you're targeting tablets). Which makes this discussion about native (obj-c, java) vs web for prototyping consumer tech services. Most consumer tech services are seeing usage move to native apps whic

Your doing it wrong. Get a night's rest and get back to it in the morning and you'll code better than everyone else who stayed up all night.

They started off with that approach, the app had a pseudo home screen with quick access to different functions. Ultimately I think it boils down to what you think of when you want to do take a photo or send a message which maps to (Facebook

So the filters aren't what really make it special, they just make it easier to take a cool photo on an otherwise limited camera. Most people are actually hooked once they get a few likes, from friends (or randoms if you hashtag your photos)

Spend 2 weeks on your product/biz and a day on your application. It will be a lot stronger.

Would like to see this functionality merged into Gon, https://github.com/gazay/gon . (and maybe Rails core someday).

I like this. A lot. It reminds me of Bret Victor's talk on being able to see what you're changing in a design live ( http://vimeo.com/36579366 ). The UI could use some work though, it's cluttered.

We've added a NSFW filter (based on whether a reddit post title has the word NSFW in it). Should cut down a lot of those.

We just added preloading for the next image, sometimes you hit one which takes a while - it's faster than before though!

Thanks for the feedback! We've pushed up a new version: - preloads the next image, slightly faster than before. - smarter ordering, the newest and best content is pushed in hourly. - finally, a tweet button to spread the love.

It would be nice if there was a site built ontop of CrunchBase to document failures, reasons & any other insight.
