Then my little Celeron junker will also double as a router. Probably going to have do that anyway since YouTube on PS4 and Roku both serve adds from (what I assume are) hardcoded IP addresses.

Idealistically, actual consumer driven capitalism would be much closer to supply/ & demand than this (imo) almost completely artificial, government sponsored bubble. I think pricing before this current bubble reflects that.

I bought a 42" Hisense Roku TV for like $120 with no prior research from Walmart a few years ago when my old plasma finally passed through to the great beyond. The interface was so clean and pleasant to use and there aren't ads st

I clicked the article expecting to see some feel-good political grandstanding (I'm a bit cynical these days) but honestly, this seems like a decent approach. Pause approvals for a year giving breathing room for researching the impacts,

I can see a situation where Microsoft contacted federal law enforcement to strongarm both GitLab and GitHub. But I believe all megacorps are one giant government conspiracy so consider the source.

I love Linux. It's my job, and it's my preference everywhere. That being said, of course it will never be the year of the Linux desktop because Linux is a GPL licensed kernel.

I played "The Darkness Below" demo on Steam (retro dungeon crawler) and noticed a Jolt3D! splash screen. Having never heard of it, I looked it up and, wow, what a beautifully hideous time capsule. Brings back ethereal memories of

Crimson Desert's engine is heavily derived from Black Desert's engine (called BlackSpace Engine) so it wasn't really from the ground up, but your point still stands.

This is just so incredibly embarrassing. We're now negotiating to end a war with a country we have claimed to have defeated like 500 times now, over terms that will not even just return the region to the pre-war status quo, but (most l
