Check out how to debug in Ruby with Metaprogramming. Mind blowing. Working on a Kernel now for educational purposes, and it's practically impossible to debug using GDB :-) not literally, but takes 5 minutes to fire up a GDB, which still wo

A lot of CS people complain about that. Especially in college and those who are just joining the work-force. The classical problems were problems back in the day. There is no point in re-implementing them nowadays. But it is very important

I show projects that I've worked on and make sure to state that this was at an X company, and the code is their property. I identify the parts I took part in. Never found any issues with it. Freelance or side projects are also a huge plus s

Credit cards, Square and now Affirm. Yet another way to spend all your money without really keeping track of where it goes. :-) But seriously, looks promising. Really hope someone would crack the mobile payments market.

If you want to argue that America is better than countries like Cuba, then you win. I was comparing America to other rest of the developed world (i.e: non-government controlled media). And by controlled, I mean controlled by corporations su

No country or region has perfect media, but the one here in America is absolutely disgusting. I mean, are you kidding? Have you compared American media to British for example? Do you see the quality of news here? Or worse, how controlled t

Gave Jekyll-Bootstrap a shot. It's very hard to customize the theme. Last night, I switched to Middleman. If you know Ruby and want to customize your theme, I highly recommend it. Still haven't deployed yet but would probably go with Heroku

Don't invest in stocks to fund anything. Invest your money in an index over 10 years instead of saving it in a bank, if you're looking to make extra cash in the next decade.

I'm pretty good with Ruby. Does Middleman offer more power than Jekyll? All I need really is to upload my Bootstrap front-end, showcase my work, have a blog with Disqus comments integrated. What does Middleman offer that Jekyll doesn't?
