Something like this happens to me too. > The images are sometimes so absurd and creative that I almost laugh to myself. For me the images and thoughts are absurd but in a terrifying way. I usually wake up when this happens. I analyze the

Just like the other commenter has mentioned, keep the slack on your pocket. Works best if your pocket is either deep or comes with zippers to seal them. Alternately, just wrap your phone with slack cable and be mindful about this when takin

With this setup you have to be a bit mindful for sure but if your cable is long enough, pulling out phone and using it as you would normally is no issue. You also keep slack cable on your pocket as other commenter has mentioned.

> Put on your wired headphones. Sit down (e.g. on the bus.) Now try taking off your shoulder-strapped bag to hold it in your lap, without first taking out your headphones. This used to bug me a lot but I've found an easy solution. J

Even with people keeping their relationships secret, I doubt SS numbers are that high in the software industry.

Meh! I'm sure there are use cases for this format but it ain't what this article claims it to be.

If this AI can't produce upscaled photos that are close to original photos, the application of this tech is severely limited. There's not going to be CSI like "enhance" moment in real life like the article claims.

I've heard border collies are super smart. Glad they're taking the initiative to do something about the environment that humans have largely ignored.

It should be ranked by per capita population. Tiny countries (like Japan or UK) winning more than half gold of US is way more impressive to me.

Not at all. It might actually cause you to burnout if you begin to feel your work has encroached on your personal life. I went through a rough phase a while back because of this.

"Ariel phenomenon" sounds like the kind of word that will be very quickly co-opted by paranormalists and occultists.

We are blessed in other ways too. We have a huge hydroelectricity potential that we haven't tapped fully. The problem is that people are insanely xenophobic and foreign investment is derided as "selling out to foreigners" her

Don't know what you're getting at. There's no autocracy in Nepal (at least not yet). The Maoists won a free and fair election (Socialism is just that popular here). At most the country is super-duper and insanely socialistic,

BTW, turnover for elections in Nepal is really high. Always upwards of 70%. If that isn't democracy, then I don't know what is.

We'll never achieve democracy if you keep on redefining it now will we?

I'm from Nepal. We're next doors to Myanmar. We have democracy, social policies (even universal healthcare, which is comically bad anyway but we do have that), freedom of speech, free press, yadda yadda but Myanmar is still richer

Play store is great imho. Yes there's a lot of garbage, but there's also a lot of great apps if you know where to look. For not so well known apps, read reviews and ask around on sites like Reddit and you'll be (mostly) fine.

How much do the Cartels depend on marijuana versus other harder drugs (like cocaine)? Maybe this won't affect the cartels at all. Also, hard to imagine Mexican government (who I've heard is in the pockets of cartels anyway) would

Theoretically, if immigration wasn't an option, what would happen in this case? Just imagine entire earth is well developed, so this issue is present on every single nation on earth. What would happen then? Would economy just slow down

I've seen this term 'toxic masculinity' being used to describe anything from asserting yourself very firmly on discussion/debates to opening doors to your (female) partner. I'm not even sure what it means anymore.

I once realized this was happening when the customer service rep was replying to me almost immediately after I hit send. Initially I was like how the hell did you reply/type this fast, but it dawned on me after a few more messages.
