At least in Finland, probably in Sweden too speed limits change often (every 6 months) due to winter. In my experience the GPS databases are extremely often not in sync, and you can't predict which speed limits change and when. In addi

Wouldn't that be "set of people who are trying to keep their job search below the radar"?

It won't be long when Adobe CS can be used on a browser, and desktop applications will mostly be unnecessary.

I thought/interpreted that the code would stop executing on the line "var b = a", and continue outside the function scope. In fact, your a and b might never be resolved.

Does this handle very large files on Node.js? npm for one fails with large files, by "large" I mean something like a few hundred megabytes. It's very problematic especially on Windows.

You can cache the data. I mean just think about how Git works. You can sync the information at random intervals between peers, and you don't need a direct connection all the time. A well-designed P2P decentralized network solves all th

Are you making the claim that language design has no effect on the number of bugs? That JSLint (for example) doesn't really reduce the number of bugs? If you're not saying that, then presumably JSLint / language design does

I don't find that comparison really fair. Kurzweil makes "wild predictions", but they're not inherently breaking any known scientific laws.
