Yikes, that is quite a large phone. Lumias look like great phones but must they be so large?

Battery life on the new iPad is indeed ridiculous. I suppose the culprit may be the retina display. I barely get 2hrs out of it for anything serious.

Can I ask what you switched to after dropping Effexor? My email is listed in my profile if you wish to answer privately.

Oh no a bigger screen. I for one am happy with the current screen size. Sure make it faster, slimmer but not wider and longer!

Also consider that many SSRIs actually list suicidal urges as a side effect. In my transition from Celexa to Prozac to Effexor, I've found that transitioning period to be particularly bad. Not to go into too much detail but I've done things

Well I lived in Fiji for a good portion of my life. Those that only lived and ever lived in Fiji considered depression as a condition formed from lack of exercise or not knowing God. I'm making a very generalised statement but this is based

Bummer. I hope this isn't going to start a "go native" trend. I used the google talk webapp because I don't chat often and didn't think I needed to install a chat app on my phone. I know I'm taking a giant leap here but I honestly fear mobi

I found myself wasting time watching youtube videos and playing games on my phone while in bed. I did this for a while, rarely leaving my room. I hoped to force myself out of bed by firstly removing these distractions. After that, it was a

I've done something similar. I disabled Safari on my iPhone. I've also set forwards on important mail to my icloud account which has push on the iPhone. This way if I do receive an important email, I'll answer or call immediately. Freeing m

Beautiful! I just wish there was a way to disable the video player on the bottom left, but seeing as how you're using youtube I don't see that being a possibility. Here's what I immediately love about this: no registration.

Agile is singularly the most talked about thing in our university while simultaneously being the least understood.

I live here in New Zealand and unfortunately I'm too depressed to enjoy it. The terrible weather doesn't help. On that note, I'd love to meet any HN folks in Auckland. I'll use this thread as an opportunity to reach out.

I've been sleeping in my office a lot lately. My home environment is far too noisy. Now I would love a sleepbox but yes I question two things: hygiene and noise. Hopefully it's well ventilated and there's no bugs but oh how I'd love a showe

Funnily enough that is exactly what I did after the release of Snow Leopard. I came to really enjoy using Arch Linux with wmii, vim and dwb. But a kernel panic later I'm back to OSX, for the time being.

Seems like the kind of message you want to see on your first day or during a recruitment drive. I'm sure the ecstasy of the moment wears off after a while as the reality of a business/work environment settles in.

It was the same for me in Fiji. I was into comics, computers, video games and not rugby. In Fiji, not liking rugby instantly makes you an outcast. 7 years later and I'm no better. All that loneliness led to insecurities that I have yet to s

So if folks aren't using RSS anymore, what are they using? Surely, they aren't manually browsing websites. I typically follow twitter feeds for updates but what's the standard RSS replacement for the average user?

Unfortunately it doesn't work on my Samsung Tab 10.1. Scrolling is fine but animations don't play. Surprised my iPhone 4 plays it, though some effects seriously lag. Here's looking at you Papercut and Skew.
