I love the drag and drop HTML development idea. I'm curious whether there's any open source libraries out there or open sourced projects that can help me develop something similar. Any suggestions?

Did anyone notice how Skype now shows ads on the their iPhone app? Far as I'm concerned it and live messenger have the same overall experience. I'd do away with Skype if I weren't using it to keep in touch with clients.

I've noticed it doesn't take much to beach-ball Safari, at least for me. OS 10.8, 2008 model MBP, Safari 6.x Canary kept on chugging at the expense of the whole OS hanging.

When I was 14, I lived in Fiji which many consider a third world country. I know what you mean when you say parents consider good grades above all. I've witnessed that firsthand. It's sad how many of my peers were chastised for attempting p

I keep a very detailed journal. It's part of my therapy. The social stuff bothers me and so I stick to use apps like Byword which offers markdown support and Dropbox sync. What's lacking is the ability to link articles and images. Something

I'm curious what you think of New Zealand stores. I too live here and I have yet to find a store comparable to Apple's. Then again I don't get out much.

Now that's something I don't know if I could change. I've always installed Linux on my older, outdated hardware. I've never purchased a brand new, top of the line machine and thought about installing Linux.

I've been waiting for a smaller nexus to hit the stands before I buy my first Android phone but it looks like that won't happen so I may just get the Nexus 4, once it becomes available in New Zealand. I just wonder for how much.

I spend a lot of time at my desk but being a small office, my co-workers tend to use my desk if/when I'm not present. I simply don't have as much control over my office environment to put effort into keeping it clean and pristine. It is wha

Ah but that cursed SMS still exists on dumbphones. I'd like to see alternatives to the John's Phone[1] which just gives us the basic calling functionality, all we really need. [1] http://johnsphones.org/

If there's a local New Zealand version of this, sign me up! I'd love to meet fellow hackers away from our hacking tools.

While this was certainly not a manic episode I did go through a period where I threw out or sold many of my possessions. I decided to leave all my electronic items at work. This included my laptop, netbook, computer monitor and various othe

If he's using HTML and JS to code this, can we expect it to run in a browser as well? I'd love that.

Unfortunately that menu slide in animation just doesn't work out well on an iPad 3. I'm not able to checkout the code ATM but I assume you're using jquery for the animation. CSS3 animations generally perform better on iPads. This plugin is

Ugh this is a pretty mobile site but scrolling all the way to the top enables some kind of pull to refresh type action that takes me to the next story. Also the now obvious icon for menus on the top left opens something completely different

I wish Microsoft devs would go the Twitter route and release a Metro equivalent of Twitter Bootstrap. They must certainly be using some internal framework.

Love it! Now a quick question, is there any way to allow for editable blocks to be re-arranged via some form of drag and drop interface? Or is there anyone out there that knows of a library that could possibly do this?
