He updated the timeline to 10-15 years in 2023. That is like an eternity. Even artists, lawyers, programmers are scared about being replaced now in that time frame. We might have humanoid robots in 15 years.

If $100 doesn’t mean much to you, it probably isn’t 100% of your portfolio. Consider future cash flow from your labor in your portfolio.

What do you mean “as always”… That sounds like ai generated nonsense. This is where ai currently falls down. It can’t do new analysis.

10 years ago radiology residency spots were going unfilled in the usa. Now there aren’t enough radiologists. but if chatgpt can do radiology in 10 years, once again residency spots will go unfilled or worse.

India is just poorer. Corruption is cheaper for the public than higher pay for cops. same reason irs doesn’t enforce taxes on tips in America.

I find it hard to believe that only 10% of software developer graduates are unemployable. 90% unemployment is ridiculous. why would the graduates waste so much time with a 10% chance of employment.

It might also be related to irs audits. even business meals are only 50% tax deductible. Personal items just aren’t. They are income and irs would want its share.

You should be suspicious of definitions where the average is abnormal. If 75% of people are over weight, maybe the definition of overweight is wrong. These definitions are arbitrary anyway. In india they define a bmi of 25 as obese. The

If you display the top 1000 or even 10000, then it will sort those. For example: https://hn.garglet.com/leaders?page=1&sort_by=avg_karma&page... But yes, sorting can / will be improved.
