    Oh thanks ! Not much scripting, just a personalised image on Docker Hub and an alias on my dev machine to push "navaati/toolbox" in the .toolboxrc on machines (but that's just a small convenience).

    I see your point but Docker is not a VM, there is not a "redirection" cost or anything. So you can see it as a convenient way to distribute the JVM. Say that the JVM makes your application portable wrt the OS, Docker makes the JVM
