I'm with you. If conspiracy theories required well-baked thoughts, then we wouldn't have things like flat earthers. Not sure how well a thought logically makes sense is in any way relevant. What seems more important is how conveni

Views with us are more comparable to page views than a video play. So definitely higher than actual plays. We give such a generous amount that this is only more expensive than other providers in a limited set of use cases. This Vimeo policy

These are fair points. You can check our history as we have been around since 2013 and sustain without big VC subsidies. The answer as to how is "deep tech" which we have been very protective of given how game changing it is. Not

Can say that we are seeing a lot of these customers reach out to us at Swarmify and many of them are similar size. It doesn't seem like they should be anywhere close to "top 1% of users" at Vimeo.

My take is that Vimeo is trying to increase their overall margins. So in these cases the options for the users are to convert to a higher margin custom plan -or- they remove them from service which also boosts overall margins by removing lo

Agreed, nothing sort of holding executives accountable with actual threat of prison time fixes this. Fines don’t matter once you are the winner in the market. Have to set an example and stop individuals from feeling safe when lying for comp

This is a good point, but then you need more boxes to perform the DDOS as the reason they are effective is overwhelming the packets per second or bandwidth per second of the receiving networks. So it definitely does allow for a sustained at

Limit would end up being when you send 1 byte of traffic to a box and that box amplifies it to whatever its own max outbound bandwidth rate is. This seems like it would exceed that in many cases, since 1 byte in => 4.2 gigabytes out. Whi

Seems like the solution would be for Apple to blanket ban any service that has this option to break the rules. Go nuclear on the analytics/tracking SDK's so that none of them even allow this to go on.

Not sure why you would even take the risk of keeping on someone who was previously indicted by the Department of Justice if trust is of high value to your company.

Wonder what the cause is for the drop off from ~30% to under 20%? Speculation but maybe boomer money allows their kids not to need to work as much as past.

You wouldn't have as much supply problem without the NIMBY's -AND- it is capitalism. Capitalism is the market reacting to limited supply and high demand. Limited supply is caused by NIMBY, and high demand is caused by tech company

NIMBY is why you can't have affordable housing in the Bay Area. There are many areas in the US that are essentially a "better deal" for techies if you can work remote.
