It's hard to do in the consulting world. I've moved away from consulting, but know exactly what you mean. Another good reason you should move more towards selling products. :)

You're definitely right. It took me 48 hours of trying to stop working (or at least slow down) to show me I had to find something else to do. Now I'm just trying to find a balance between general life stuff and (more slowly) worki

I don't do consulting anymore. My living comes from products that will still sell (for a while) without new work. I'll be fine.

Wow, thanks for sharing my post. I'm honored. I wrote this quickly and didn't expect it to go anywhere (I didn't even send it to my email subscribers), because it was more personal to me. Glad you all are enjoying it as well.

I think you're right. I found the article I was thinking of: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/24/magazine/24patterson-t.htm... Here's the section: "WHAT IS PERHAPS most remarkable about the

I was reading about this yesterday. Seems the publishing industry will release a hardcover, softcover, and then a small softcover version of the book. Not sure the exact benefits, but they wouldn't do it unless it made money.

Very bold move Josh. I love this idea! This is a great example of how teaching and sharing can help everyone involved. Baremetrics gets more visibility and promotion (as well is demoed to thousands of people) and visitors get to learn more

1. Yes, you are right. This is more of a tutorial than an redesign for the sake of doing a redesign. 2. Because Photoshop is far faster and I create much more visually interesting designs when I use it. Everything in the design is very easy

Yep, there are always things missed. This redesign is actually for teaching Photoshop techniques more than it is about getting the best possible United search screen. For example, I didn't make any major changes to the flow or UX side

I use Stripe for my SaaS app, but for all my digital download products (ebooks and courses) I use Gumroad [1] which actually has really great fraud prevention. Not only that, but Gumroad will fight a chargeback on your behalf and if they lo
