While simple, I believe Panel and Listgroup are new components; nice to have those nicely implemented and styled in the framework. Will be handy for me. In many ways I think Bootstrap helps the most with the little things like this. I am ve

I don't know, personally I think I would have benefitted from being able to see a father-figure-type-person doing their thing, even if that meant having to check his phone during the big game, etc. Hopefully a good parent would do so in a b

There are some pretty good decaf black teas (not herbal) which are reasonably satisfying if you want to have a cuppa later in the day. If you're in the US, the Stash decaf range is IMO the best of the common supermarket brands (the normal A

This is a totally trivial nitpick, but when I see 500MB at the $9 level I start to do multiplication in my head and kind of get distracted. If it wouldn't cost you too much more, I would suggest considering 1GB for that level. The little st

Agreed. While the trend away from 3rd party cookies is at present and will probably continue to be a thorn in my side in the coming years as a coder, I think that most internet users will be happier in a world where they are mostly not supp

I like it, nice and simple way to include and render some data from an API or something. Thanks to the author for making it available.

Endless props, thanks, and respect to the Bootstrap team. They do an amazing job, sometimes with less-than-amazing levels of gratitude in return.

Yes. I love that Consolas is included in Windows now. I always set my code text editors to use it when I'm on Windows, and try to get other folks to try it too. Such a pleasant fixed-width font to use when coding. It can also be used on the

Also consider using Connect (on which Express is built) as an in-between point. You get stuff like the Sinatra-style routing, but without the presentation-tier stuff like template support, etc. I've had good luck with it, FWIW.

Yes, very early on in my use of my Nexus 7, Google Now pointed out that there was a concert coming up for a band that I love in my city. Bought a ticket right then. Would have been disappointed to miss the show. That's not a very location-a

I can sympathize. I dated online for a time, and the stated-height-requirement thing used to drive me either totally, totally nuts or into extended moments of depression, depending on the day. I am not very short, but I am under average, an

Thanks to all in this part of the thread for talking so pretty about Knockout - it got me to try incorporating it tonight on a simple interactive page I started recently, and it's a pleasure to use so far. Works nicely in combination with c

Useful, thank you for posting. Obviously, this isn't a user interaction that you want to use everywhere, but there are plenty of situations where editing individual fields via mini-modals like this will make lots of sense. For one thing, I

I still can't get myself to embrace Twitter, but this was a good set of thoughts around it. Maybe someday I'll get it together, re-read decent articles like this, and get myself out there. In any case I appreciate the poster's point of view

Cool, I love having stuff like this out there. It may not always be the right tool for a given problem, but sometimes it will be. I imagine I'll have cause to use it sometime this year, so thanks! In particular, I could see this being usefu

As another founder of a TechStars Cloud company, I can tell you that Jason is the real deal, and he and the other folks that run it really care about the companies in the program. If you want to participate in an accelerator, and you've got
