I don’t know. I ordered some drill bits and a kitchen gadget from Temu and it was hot garbage. The metal used was so soft you could bend the drills. Threw an out after one single use, same with the grater

Bonding to a computer program under control of a corporation is like looking for a sociopath as a partner explicitly. You would lose complete control of your life to the other side. Reciprocity is off the table completely.

We had a similar issue with ATM in Austria where they are all set to max give you 400 EUR. Which was a sensible idea in 2001 but pays for much less in 2024. Somehow the banks have never heard of inflation or really don’t want you to use cas

Yeah I hate Vaseline too and normally use a stick called BodyGlide which just creates a thin coat. Vaseline was the only thing I could buy in the village and now I know WD-40 can work in a pinch

I once ran an ultra marathon distance and had no lubricant but getting a bad rash so I sprayed my thighs and balls with WD-40 which I found outside someone’s garage. It lasted me almost 15 miles until I could buy some Vaseline. Off label us

When you can just open an applications menu and click every possibly interesting option you are already more proficient in the use of any software than 90% of its daily users. That is the only explanation why I can fix any office worker’s s

The total economy argument is good but I still don’t see the reason why being rich should lead you to pay less percentage in taxes than someone just selling their labor. Which is what always tends to happen or is even explicitly so.

I guess you are right it is the same problem really. Where I live you could at least limit it to 80km/h in the city limits since there is no higher limit anywhere. But more granular limits might be hard

I used the ACC with automatic speed recognition for about two months but it did too many stupid brakings. I think using GPS to limit to the highest possible speed for highway/roads/city would be fine. But as long as the car can de

Laptop battery size has historically been limited in high performance machines by the FAA with 100Wh. I guess you could build a MacBook Air type device with insane battery life nowadays though.
