This doesn't match my experience. Banking apps in Germany often required screwing around with additional Magisk modules, and would often break again after an update. Just not worth the effort.

This depends on the country though. Here in Germany the system is only used for actual emergencies, like fires or blackouts. It's not used for missing persons and the like. Though there was a warning about an allegedly escaped lion in

I just wish there weren't so many rather C++ focused posts. The last few months weren't really that interesting for me. I get that there's a limited amount of fun Windows stuff and anecdotes, but these deep dives into Windows

Self taught makes it difficult in Germany unless you have demonstrable and very good experience to show or have excellent references. Might be easier for startups, but for corporates you'll be likely filtered immediately without a bach

This is cool, I'm imagining the slight confusion of a Japanese librarian to scan three pages of an old computer magazine and ship it to the UK. Curious though, what's so interesting about the TOC to have it physically?
