Yes, like hydrolyzing vegetable oil, you can pack more hydrogen onto a carbon chain. You can also use the Fischer–Tropsch process to make longer chains out of smaller molecules like carbon monoxide and hydrogen.

I'm not talking about growing plants directly for the production of biofuels, that is a silly proposition when there are mountains of unused organic waste being produced annually by nature and by agriculture. Utilizing the organic &quo

The most effective way to store hydrogen as a fuel is in hydrocarbons. Hydrogen gas, as itself, seems at first blush, to be great because it combusts into water, but it doesn't store as efficiently or safely as hydrocarbons. The wax c

Don't throw biofuels out, there are plenty of fuels you can make from the parts of plants that we do not eat. Corn stover, walnut shells, bigasse, olive pits, etc. are all unused components that can be converted into fuel sources thro

Le bureau des légendes was a great series from start to finish! I honestly enjoyed all of the characters, even when they seemed a bit manipulative or cold.

My mind kept reading the sign as "Mountain Top", which would have likely caused me to pull over for a looksee. I'd be the guy that reads, "This place is not a place of honor..." and think, good enough place to dig a

I have a bamboo cutting board that I purchased in 2004, and a mesquite wood cutting board gifted to me a few years later. Both look nearly new despite using them daily. Now I don't cook meat, so maybe that is why my experience doesn&#

I have a sneaking suspicion if you walked your house plants you'd meet many new people. If I didn't already have a dog, I might build a robotic platform so that I could wander to the park with a dwarf fruit tree in tow.

Shouldn't home batteries be lithium iron phosphate and not lithium ion, and thus almost a zero fire hazard? At least as far as cell chemistry goes...electricity is always a fire hazard if discharged incorrectly.

There are two options: 1. purchase a 12v refrigerator and turn it on when the dewpoint is achievable by the fridge and then run air though a baffled pathway within the fridge to capture the water that condenses out. 2. Use zeolite to adso
