Definitely ask for a raise. I think you are underpaid. A quick search for "Junior java developer" on indeed.com, indicates that you could easily be making $20k more than you presently do.

Comparing cars to guns is very dishonest. Cars are primarily used for transportation, and can kill people in some situations. Guns are for killing [people or animals], period. The oft cited Chicago example is also extremely dishonest, beca

So does idiomatic modern rails not use generators? I believe the way to begin a new rails project is with the command "rails new {insert project name} ", which umm....generates a ton of boilerplate code.

It is pretty relevant...How do you objectively measure a "better UX"? IMO , there is no better measure than the users voting with their wallets (ie purchasing the app) . In my experience, all these dribbble orgasm inducing designs just don'

Its not clear to me what your value proposition is, or what I would be paying you guys a monthly fee for. If I use Elastic Beanstalk, I can deploy with a simple git push, and I can manage AWS directly myself. What do you guys do to make thi

Before you start with the growth hacking business, you may want to re-organize your site to provide clarity especially for first time visitors. IMO, your CTA here is to have people browse through things..that whole sign up business on the l

I like your 6 steps...As an experienced designer, would it not take you less time to get that done than most other people? Would it then not be worth your while to charge for say 2 hours of your time to provide , say 2 revisions to anyone w

Not really sure what you are ranting about. The website itself exists to provide services for $5. Surely these designers are able to place what they think is a fair value on the use of their time and resources. Why do you think its a bad th
