Hmm..Do I really want my friends to have this much information about me? Do I really want ALL my friends to know that I spent 2 hours over the weekend (not working, but) checking out videos of buffy 'the body' on youtube? I find the update

If you are the idea guy and you are not bringing in new ideas then what are you contributing to the startup? I think it is a bad idea to have a designated idea guy.

Interesting...this is only the second UK based YC funded company that I know of, and it is also made up of people from Cambridge and Oxford. Does it really not matter where you go to school?

For the kind of money that MT charges, why would you not just get a dedicated server?

I thought the whole point of this website (YC), was so you would never have to write another resume.

Am I missing something here? Why would I pay $399 for this "new" IDE, when the existing competing products are either free (Radrails & Netbeans) or cost about 1/5th as much (Textmate) ?

Good start..but IMHO it is a number of features away from being a must have..Somethings I would like to see: 1. Some of my friends email me with multiple addresses, there should be a way to merge them into one person 2. I should be able to

I am using it..I am 50/50 on whether to buy a MAC or Windows PC for my next laptop, and this may end up being the tie breaker. I am of course assuming the software will keep getting more useful.

I need a new laptop, I really don't want a Vista, but it is hard for me to justify spending $2500 on a MacBook Pro. Apple needs to do something about their pricing if they want a bigger market share.

Many versions of that story have been floating arund the web for a long time...It's clearly straight from a comedian's mind, and was not meant to be taken seriously.

No matter which way you cut it, this price cut leaves me a little angry at Apple. A 33% price drop in 2 months definitely sends the wrong message IMHO. I bought the iPhone on day 1, waited through all the activation horrors, and apple is es
